In search of comrades

Raven trotted slowly into the clearing, senses on full alert. Even being a popular hangout, she knew there was still the possibility of there being aggressive wolves in the area.

The early morning rays filtered down around her obsidian pelt, dappling it with light. Raven gave her tail a soft wag as she enjoyed the warmth, searching for a spot to sit amongst the low grass. She soon found a nice shady spot and settled down, brandishing a friendly expression so as to encourage others to indulge in conversation.

When Silver Reaches the clearing she see's Raven in the shade and trot's over and lay's down next to her and says panting

Wow,You need to give me some warning before you take off like that next time Raven.

Silver then starts to take a nap but befor she goes to sleep she say's

Wake me up if somone wants to join the pack can you please Raven.

Silver then falls asleep.

Betosa sighed as he walked into the clearing, there wasn't much activity today and he really wasn't looking for new members, he just wanted to meet some more wolves from the area. He walked throught the last of the brush that marked the clearings border and smiled as the sun hit his face. He looked around and saw two females not to far away, one was sleeping and the other held herself as an alpha did so he assumed she must be lader of another pack. He made his way over to her slowly, he kept a friendly smile though he still held himself dominantly. "Greeting I am Betosa of the Sapphire Falls pack, might I ask your name, M'Lady" he said with a bow showing respect to another chief. He stood back up and his muscle rippleed beneath his sleek pelt as he lowered himself into a stitting position.

Raven blinked lazily, enjoying the scenery in the small clearing. It seemed as though it would be a quiet day today.

The dark she-wolf's nose quivered briefly as she picked up the scent of an approaching male. She gave a brisk yawn and slowly stood up to full height at she watched his approach intently. The fur of her neck bristled slightly for a brief moment as she eyed the other wolf. He was clearly another alpha, holding a distinct air of untroubled confidence about himself.

"Greeting I am Betosa of the Sapphire Falls pack, might I ask your name, M'Lady" the stranger said with a bow.

Raven inclined her head, sizing up the dark male. "I am Raven, of the Skullsink ridge pack. It's only me and my brave Silver at present, but we're hopeful of finding others who are willing to join us. It is nice to meet you Betosa." She smiled gently at him. "It's always nice to chat, if you're planning on staying awhile."

(( OOC: AHH! She apparently stood up twice >< I was tired when I wrote this. Fixed, lo..and my ravvie's not really afraid of males, a lot of them just set her on edge a bit.l))

Silver woke up just slightly before the male wolf said his name Silver then heard

"Greeting I am Betosa of the Sapphire Falls pack, might I ask your name, M'Lady"

Silver then got up and bowed her self showing respect for the Alpha's Silver then heard Raven say

"I am Raven, of the Skullsink ridge pack. It's only me and my brave Silver at present, but we're hopeful of finding others who are willing to join us. It is nice to meet you Betosa."

Silver then heard Raven say

"It's always nice to chat, if you're planning on staying awhile."

Silver then looked back Betosa and then at Raven and she saw how they looked alot alike then Silver looked at Raven again and saw Raven get alittle scared of Betosa Silver then Said,

Hi Betosa I'm Silver I joined the Skullsink Ridge Pack Just yesterday.

After that Silver satdown right next to Raven pleased to see a Mellow Male.

Betosa smiled and nodded to both of the she-wolves, he was glad that neither of them reacted negatively, some females would act weird around him he was glad he had founf two he hadn't. "I don't havde much else to do, I agree it would be very nice to chat." he said to the wolf who for except being smaller and a different gender nearly mirrored him. He then bowed,"Pleasure to meet you both, ah the morning holds the promise of a beautiful day, no?" he said while looking up at the near by canopy while the sun hit his night colored pelt.

Silver looked at Betsoa as he Said,

Silver then relised Betosa said it to Raven then Silver heard Betosa say

,"Pleasure to meet you both, ah the morning holds the promise of a beautiful day, no?"

Yeah it is Betosa."

Silver said with her tail wagging at a medium pace.

Raven followed his gaze towards the gently swaying branches.

"Indeed, this island's weather is lovely most days. When it's not raining. It rains a great deal here I've noticed, guess we'll never be in much want of water." Raven sighed, looking out across the clear blue sky, dotted liberally with plump, fluffy clouds. "This seems like the beginning of a great empire, my friend. Once the loners have come to their terms and joined packs. Already our numbers are growing; my young brave here is laden with pups, and prey is plentiful. I have no doubt that both of our packs will grow strong and healthy. But I wonder sometimes, are we truly free? Or will the humans be back to torment us further?" The dark she-wolf frowned in contemplation, her mind mulling over both past and future, before breaking into a sudden grin. "Ah! No matter, I'm simply being gloomy. Wouldn't want to make the wrong impression."

Betosa nodded in agreement, "Well for all of our sakes they don't, and not gloomy just realistic its going to be a constnt threat here for, well prety much forever." he said meeting her gaze. "I agree also it reain far far to much for my liking, my coat takes forever to dry." he said smiling.

As Silver listened to the both of them talk she felt the pup's kick she smiled and said,

The pups just kicked!

Silver then felt very tired and said,

If you don't mind I'm going to take a nap these pups are taking alot out of me.

with that said silver found a nice spot in the sun and fell asleep quicly and drempt of 2 pups playing with her as she smiled in her sleep she couldn't help but wonder how she would raise them in such a small pack (awwww).

Raven looked to the light she-wolf, concern clouding her cobalt eyes.

"Well, I'd say it's high time we got back to the den if Silver's feeling so tired."

She nodded her dark muzzle in respect to Betosa. "It was a pleasure meeting you, sir. May your pack grow strong."

The dark she-wolf nudged Silver with her nose. "Let's get back to the den, those pups seem close at hand."

Raven paused a few moments before trotting towards the treeline.

Betosa smiled at the thouht of pups, he had bever had any of his own, "Well I hope things go well with the pups, and congratulations silver." he finished while standing up and stretching. He nodded to both of the females and stood while he waited for them to leave, it was of course the polite thing to do, and betosa always tried to be polite when he could.

Silver got up and Said "okay" to Raven and then said "Thanks" Silver then followed Raven back to the dens in the Territory as she began to fell labor pains she knew she needed to get back to the dens soon so she ran as fast as she could then she finally reaches the dens she goes right in.
