 Waiting to see the sun.

The clouds were grey, they didn't look heavy with rain. Just a light grey color, Ikaika's tail drooped to the ground a little as she walked to something that had been there for some time. Her friends had told her stories about this place, they had told her it was a creepy place and that it was thought of as eerie by most wolves, and so far, it was a bit on the creepy side.

Ikaika shook her head lightly, It isn't creepy. Just abandoned. Her optics looked around, and her audits were on high alert just in case anything would attack her. Nothing will hurt me... She thought to herself, moving forward, plume even lower. Almost at once she could see something and it didn't look forest made. A scent was coming off of it that wasn't like a forest scent either. What is this? She asked herself, moving so close to it that if she reached out with her nose she would be able to touch it.

(ooc-I am actually working on fixing all that now, night. I will still go ahead and rely though)

Chu'a watched from his spot in one of the seat of the flying machine, he made his nest hear, he had pulled some of the cushions into a pile and thats where he had been sleeping. He looked out the window from his pile of cushions as the vix got closer and closer, she seemed scared of it but so did most wolves. He thought of this place as a refuge, and a home more than something to be feared. He walked to the front wear a larger opening was and he walked down and slowly got closer, "There is nothing to worry about, it doesn't bite." he said with a smile.

Ikaia jumped back, her optics stared at the brute standing in an opening on the human made thing. "How come I couldn't smell you?" She asked, her plume raising a bit, showing that she wasn't scared as before, even though the brute in front of her could be dangerous. "Or maybe that was the odd smell?" She asked, well, more like muttered to herself as she stood there, staring at him. "How long have you lived here?" She asked, her eyes were filled with a bit of awe, her voice a bit on the quiet side.

Chu'a smiled, the scent of the flying machine always seemed to mask his scent. "Not very long, just a week or so. So what brings you here?" he asked with his head tilted to one side, he hadn't meant to scare her but around here it was easy to scare anyone. He sat with a smiloe, she seemed sweet enough but in the back of his mind a little voice was asking where her loyaltys lie.

She watched quietly as he sat down, a small smile could be easily seen on his face, she could see his eyes too, and she could feel that he was unsure where her loyalties lay and that he did not fully trust her. She didn't mind, nor did she care about that thought nagging at him. "I won't attack, if you don't attack." She said, not looking at him as she sat down onto the forest floor. Her head tilted back, looking up at the grey sky that looked like it was getting heavier with water. She grunted. "So brute, what is your name?" She asked him, her attention back at him once more.

Chu'a grinned,"You have a deal then." he watched as the fae looked up at the sky, he took a quick glance up, it would rain soon, he sighed. He hated rain. "Chu'a, and you vix?" he asked with a curious grin on his face. His head shot up and he looked at the sky as he heard the sky rumble, "I think it would be better if we went inside, its well sheltered and rain doesn't get it." he said standing up.

"Ikaika." She replied simply, her tounge rolling on the name Chu'a. An odd yet fitting name. Her head turned towards the sky again, this time the sky rumbled, almost like it could shake the world and split it apart. It wasn't the first time a storm had hit the earth, light could be seen flashing in the distance. Chu'a's voice reached her audits, I think it would be better if we went inside, it's well sheltered and rain doesn't get it. She could see that his body was moving a bit to let her in. "I don't mind the rain. But thanks." She replied, jumping in just as the rain started to pour down.

Chu'a laughed, "My fur is so thick, its hard to get dry sometimes." he said beofre stepping the rest of the way into the machine. He looked out as it started to rain, he hated to the rain, one of the many reasons he hated the island. He walked over and sat down on one of the cushion, it was much more comfortable than the unnatural hard floor. "Very nice to meet you Ikaika, welcome to one of the creepiest places on the island." He said with a grin, "Very nice to meet you." he sat with a nod.

Amadeus strutted his way through some brush, or at least he tried to strut. It was rather difficult for him to do in the ensuing down pour. He causally looked about for shelter doing his best to make it seem as if they rain really did not bother him, despite the fact that he hated it. He thought he had scented a female nearby and that was all the reason he needed to put on a show. He noticed the downed metal bird as soon as it came into view. It was shelter he knew but it was creepy and he did not want to go near it. Tentatively he sniffed the air but the rain made it hard to distinguish any single smell. Not knowing if there was another sole about, he started towards the metal contraption. He looked quite ridiculous as he marched around with his soaked coat, he looked more like a drowned rat on parade than a wolf. He did his best to look as if he was not afraid of the plane. The first clap of thunder caused him to jump several feet to the left however. He looked about to see if anyone had seen that then started once again towards the plane, composed.

(OOC: I figured it would just be better to post here and not start a new topic)

"Nice to meet you too." She nodded back, shaking herself off a little, sending droplets of water spraying everywhere around her. "...Sorry about that." She laughed nervously, licking herself, trying to lick off the droplets off her fur and clean herself up at the same time. As soon as she was satisfied with cleaning herself she moved back to the opening to watch the rain. A yawn pushed it's way out of her as she sat there, staring at the pouring rain. The clouds above dark, cold, and grey.

Suddenly her audits perked, she looked around, with all the rain coming down it was hard to see outside. "I think I heard something." Ikaika said softly to Chu'a, turning her cranium her optics stared at him.

Betosa dryed his wet fur in silence, "No worries." he said as a few water droplets hit his pelt. He smiled as she laughed, he sata nd looked out of the whole in the side of the machines belly as the rain poored down. When Ikiaka said she thought she heard something he walked over and sat behind her looking out of the entrance, he kept his ears pricked and sniffed the air, he couldn't see anything in this kind of weather. He did smell a wolf though and he thought he saw something move, after another great shake he knew he saw something, "Theres a wolf out there." he said in a low voice to Ikaika, "Hey, come over here, under the shelter." he called to the wolf walking through the rain.

Amadeus looked about for a moment before he saw who had spoken. He quickly trotted up towards them. "I thanks you for the offer," He said happily as she shook himself before entering the cozy little pace, "Horrible weather this rain is." He took a seat a bit away from the other two and started to lick himself dry. "I am Amadeus," he said coolly directing his conversation more towards the she-wolf without even meaning to, "May I be so bold as to ask your names? And if either of you know just what has been going on as of late? For I have to say that I have hardly any idea about what is going on here."

Betosa tok a step back and sat down as well, "Nice to meet you Amadeus, I am Betosa." he said with a nod, he wasn't going to introduce Ikaika, she might take that as him being rude or something along those lines which he moust deffinatley didn't want to do. "And if you mean whats been going on on the Island, the believers of Heammawhihio's ways are forming packs." he said before he thought about it, he hoped he hadn't offended either of them.

"And it is a pleaure to meet you Betosa," Amades said with a graceful nod. He gave a scoff at the mention of the believers of Heammawhihio. "Why do they even bother?" he mussed, "The old ways worked well enough. Why try to fix something that is not broken? I say that the new system will fall apart soon. We are wolves, we are not meant to break up power like the seem to want to."
